Method 1: 1,4-butanediol is used as raw material and dehydrated to produce tetrahydrofuran, which is then reacted with ammonia to produce pyrrolidine.
Method 2: Tetrahydropyrrole can be produced by reacting furan with ammonia at 400°C under the action of a catalyst.
Method 3: 1,4-dichlorobutane is used as raw material and reacted with ammonia to produce pyrrolidine.
Method 4: Reduction with ruthenium or rhodium as catalyst, using pyrrole as raw material, leads to tetrahydropyrrole.
