The transparent substance was placed in a crystallization dish and dissolved with ether, then slowly added petroleum ether dropwise until slightly turbid, covered and clamped a piece of paper and crystallized in a fume hood to obtain 1.37 g of the product 2-bromo-4'-methylpropiophenone transparent crystals.
